« Isn’t it time to really disconnect?” »

Nowadays, many employees are facing a culture of constant availability. The pressure to respond immediately undermines work-life balance and health. However, disconnecting is much more than a need : it is a law. My project aims to ask : how, then, can we enable companies to understand and enforce the right to disconnect ?

My project was carried out with the hypothetical client Actis Lyon, as part of their training course “Psychosocial risks : identifying them and taking action to protect employee health,” intended for managers and members of works councils.

Graphic research and development

To convey the effects of work-related digital overload, the game begins by immersing us in the workplace, then moves into the private sphere that it invades.

It was important to quickly make clear what each screen the user sees represents.
The two spaces are drastically opposed, both in their formal and color characteristics : the first is orderly, serious, and impersonal, while the second is more free, gentle, and sensitive.

Designed as an introductory activity to ACTIS training, Connected Health seeks to raise awareness and prepare for the trainer’s intervention.

The game allows everyone to take a step back and evaluate their own actions, thanks to choices that lead to different outcomes with different texts.
The trainer can also use the participants’ responses as support for their training.
